Fourth-year Networking & IT Security student at Ontario Tech University with interests in network engineering, cloud security, and enterprise IT.
I'm a fourth-year student in the Networking & IT Security program at Ontario Tech University with interests in network engineering, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technical troubleshooting. I recently completed an IT Systems Assistant internship with the Ontario Land Tribunal, where I worked on Azure security and monitoring research while also supporting tribunal mediation operations. Outside of work and class, I'm an active member of Netsoc and have participated in cybersecurity competitions, including TACOPS 2026.

Supported a public-facing website modernization initiative for the Ontario Land Tribunal by researching and testing Azure hosting, security, and monitoring capabilities, including Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics. Documented findings and potential security and monitoring considerations. See the full write-up ↓
Also supported virtual and hybrid tribunal mediations, managing Zoom sessions, breakout rooms, participant access, and coordination with mediators, counsel, appellants, and internal staff while providing basic technical support during proceedings.
Active member of Ontario Tech's student-run networking and cybersecurity club. I participate in technical workshops, events, and Capture the Flag competitions, including TACOPS 2026, where I worked through challenges involving Windows, Linux, cryptography, OSINT, encoding, programming, and web penetration testing.
Part-time Front End Clerk working as a cashier, self-checkout attendant, and cart attendant while managing full-time studies.
As part of a broader website modernization initiative, I researched how Microsoft Azure could support the hosting, security, and monitoring needs of a public-facing tribunal website. I used a separate personal Azure subscription to deploy services and conduct hands-on testing, allowing me to evaluate their capabilities and document findings for the project team.

This project gave me the opportunity to move beyond coursework and explore Azure services in the context of a real government modernization initiative. Building and testing resources in my own Azure environment helped me understand how services such as App Service, Defender for Cloud, Azure Monitor, and Application Insights work together, while also giving me experience documenting technical findings and communicating them to team members with different areas of technical expertise.
Technology-focused program covering network engineering, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, systems administration, and IT management. Emphasises hands-on labs and real-world application of enterprise networking and security concepts.
Designed and implemented a three-site enterprise network topology in a four-person team using Cisco Modeling Labs (CML). Deployed EIGRP and OSPF with MD5 authentication as interior gateway protocols, and implemented BGP for inter-site connectivity via an ISP core. Configured VLAN segmentation with inter-VLAN routing using Layer 3 switching, DHCP, NAT (PAT), extended ACLs, BPDU Guard, and SSH remote access.
Deployed AWS and Azure virtual machines using KVM and Docker-based containerisation. Built containerised web applications with NGINX load balancing for high availability. Integrated AWS S3 and RDS for storage and database services, and automated infrastructure deployment with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
Implemented and troubleshot EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP, diagnosing DHCP misconfigurations, VLAN boundary issues, relay failures, and inter-network routing problems. Applied a structured ticket-based methodology to identify root causes, implement fixes, and validate restored connectivity. Produced technical documentation covering network designs, configurations, and incident analysis.
Conducted packet analysis with Wireshark to identify malicious traffic and protocol anomalies. Implemented symmetric and asymmetric encryption techniques and analysed hashing algorithms and authentication mechanisms for data integrity validation.
